It’s been a while since I’ve felt the call to write on here and a lot has happened in that time. The biggest of all is that I’m pregnant! And our baby girl is coming SOON. Her estimated arrival date is May 24, which is in four short weeks from today.

Thinking about it, this is probably one of the biggest transitions of my life. I’m bringing a baby girl into this world…I can’t believe it. We’re very excited to meet this little girl and see what she’s like and help nurture her in the best way we know how and I’m excited and also nervous to experience the love of being a mother. All the ups and downs, joys and heartaches. I hope I will remember to see the beauty and grace in it all.

I have a feeling this little girl will be my greatest spiritual guru yet. She’s going to teach me so much about love, patience, joy, connection and the importance of being present. Being her mom will be one of the my biggest, hardest spiritual practices of all thus far, providing continuous and constant growth towards expanding consciousness, awareness and the capacity to love. Am I ready?
